Dear friends and neighbors, Can you have a Susi Q if the Susi Q is closed? Here’s our answer: Yes! Thanks to our dedicated staff and volunteers . we are as busy as ever at The Susi Q Without Walls. Our Lifelong Laguna, Care Management, and Feeling the Blues programs have never been more relevant. They connect seniors — and their families near and far — to vital resources that meet their particular needs and help them cope with this unprecedented public health crisis. Active seniors are taking part in their favorite clubs, classes, and activities via Zoom video-conferencing. These programs are a vibrant way for the 55-plus crowd to stretch their minds and bodies and stay in touch with their friends. Whether you’re a senior, adult child of a senior (and a future senior yourself), or simply someone who cares about the health and happiness of our multi-generational community, Laguna Beach Seniors is here for you — but we need your support to keep going strong. Please consider donating $25, $50, $100, or more to enable us to prepare for the safe re-opening of the Susi Q and to ensure that The Susi Q Without Walls is accessible to all who need our services during this challenging time. Your contribution protects a vital place where people of all ages gather to meet the challenges that can come with time and live it up in the town they love. Stay safe and healthy. And stay in touch!
