The Susi Q is open! But “The Susi Q Without Walls” is here to stay.
We were all so happy when the our doors opened again. But we accomplished something amazing when they closed. Within two weeks, when most senior centers had shut down completely, we had our virtual programming up and running. Zoom has proven to be an effective new way to help you stay connected, have fun, and find the help you need. That's why we're equipping three of our classrooms with improved Zoom technology, and planning more hybrid programming (Zoom or in-person). As we navigate this next stage of “getting back to normal,” your health remains our highest priority. We require everyone who returns to the Susi Q to be vaccinated, and we will follow all the safety protocols and guidelines set forth by the CDC and the City. If you are still getting used to the idea of getting back to normal (we are too!), please come down for our new Social Hour on Mondays and Wednesdays. We can’t wait to see you. Whether you’re a senior, adult child of a senior (and a future senior yourself), or simply someone who cares about the health and happiness of our multi-generational community, we are here for you — and we continue to need your support . Please consider donating $25, $50, $100, or more to enable us to prepare for the safe re-opening of the Susi Q and to ensure that The Susi Q Without Walls is accessible to all who need our services during this challenging time. Your contribution protects a vital place where people of all ages gather to meet the challenges that can come with time and live it up in the town they love. Stay safe and healthy. And stay in touch!
